Speakerkicker.com:  Kind Words!

Many thanks to Tanmay Buch of Speakerkicker.com for the really great write up on "Plates."  In my experience, he is a really great guy and is capable of some really great conversation.  Perhaps it's needless for me to say it then, but I deeply enjoyed reading his write up.
"'NNNNN' is the strange name for the even stranger experimental pop-music of Justin Sabaj.  The word strange in this case means refreshing, and is essentially the only thing any songwriter should be aiming for these days... The record doesn’t exactly sound like anything... Some tracks are reminiscent of Beck... and some remind me of Kate Bush or some other weird shit."
Those are some tidbits, and whole writeup worth reading in it's entirety can be found here.  Many thanks again for the review!

Books Music:  Such awesomely kind words

This weekend I took a trip up to the Adirondacks.  Before leaving I sent the link to Plates out to a few blogs.  Upon returning to my internet hookup at home, I was so pleasantly surprised to find words like this:
"...the kind of music people like Beck, Bjork, Flaming Lips, and Paul McCartney (think 1980′s McCartney II album) would smirk at for being so cleverly done."
Providing description of Plates.  These words come from John Books of www.thisisbooksmusic.com,  and I have the deepest gratitude for them!  The full post can be found here.

And Paul McCartney's II sounds like this:

Happy Valentine's Day!

It's Valentine's Day 2014 (almost, anyway)!  And there's a big ol' blizzard hitting this area of NJ!  And there's a full moon!

Could you think of a better time to release music that was recorded just about 6 (six) years ago?  I can't either!  And what if all of this music was over the top, semi-serious, borderline but not quite goofy, super hard hitting, and danceable all the way through?

You might say "Such a collection of 7 songs could not possibly exist," but my response is:

Check out "Plates"!  This music was so ahead of it's time that I had to wait a whole 6 (six) years since 2008 to release it!  Please listen, sing along, dance, and enjoy wildly.  I think you'll find that it matured quite nicely, as if it were in fact a fine cultured comestible.  Yum.  Lick the "Plates" clean.
